Kara Mason

Dr. Mason graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson Dental School in 1988 in the top 1% of her class. She completed her general practice residency at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Manhattan. Dr. Mason is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association. She lectures at dental meetings on cosmetic dentistry and the management of dental phobic patients. She has been in private practice for over fifteen years. Dr. Mason has been profiled in various publications. Please see the In the Media section of this website to view these articles. Dr. Mason is married and has two daughters. Her interests are adventure travel, tennis, skiing, hiking, decorating, gardening and photography. She is an avid nature lover and a member of various environmental groups.

Iris Kloin, RDS

Iris Kloin, our registered dental hygienist graduated from New York City Technical College with high honors. Continuing education helps Iris stay informed about the latest advances in periodontal disease and prevention. She is extremely gentle, yet thorough when she cleans your teeth. Iris takes the time to teach each patient how to achieve a healthy mouth and avoid cavities and gum disease

Arelis Moya - Office Manager

Arelis is the warm, friendly face that you will find at our front desk. She is always glad to find you just the right appointment to suit your busy schedule. She is very knowledeable about dental insurance and will file your claims for you. Arelis has worked for Dr. Mason for over ten years.

Peggy Zappitis, RDA

Peggy graduated from Berdan Institute of Allied Health Sciences. She continues her education at Hunter University. She is a top notch, highly experienced dental assistant. Like good dance partners, Peggy and Dr. Mason work seamlessly together to make your dental experience a pleasant one.
